Pro-Mask Mandate Parents in Allen ISD Re-file Federal Lawsuit

Allen, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – A group of Allen ISD parents that has demanded mask mandates has re-filed lawsuit that ultimately seeks to require the texas education agency to follow CDC guidance on masking.

The new federal filing adds the parents as plaintiffs against Frisco, Lago Vista, Hurst-Euless-Bedford and Grapevine-Colleyville ISD’s.

According to the Dallas Morning News, the new filing also adds the TEA, McKinney ISD and Tomball ISD in suburban Houston as defendants. This time the complaint was filed with the US District Court in the Western District of Texas instead of the Eastern District.
