FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) – An 11-year-old boy was killed when he was hit by a car as he and two other children tried to cross Loop 820 Tuesday evening.
Fort Worth Police said the trio attempted to cross at Camp Bowie Boulevard around 5:45 p.m.
One of the children sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
The driver of the car that hit the child pulled over and stayed at the scene.
It’s unclear where the kids were headed when they attempted to cross the six-lane highway or if any charges will be filed.
