FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News) – North Texas parents who want to get their younger children vaccinated against COVID-19 now have more options.
MedStar is hosting its regular vaccine clinic this Thursday, November 11th, and this time anyone five years and older is eligible.
The increased eligibility comes after both the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention gave the green light for Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine for kids ages 5 to 11 over the last two weeks.
The Tarrant County ambulance service will host the clinic at MedStar headquarters at 2900 Alta Mere Dr. in Fort Worth on Thursday from 12 pm to 6 pm.
Parents must be present with a minor in order for the child to receive the vaccine. Third dose shots are available for those over 18 who qualify.
Pre-registration is required and vaccines are administered by appointment only. Click here to register.
