Denton, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – Denton police arrested a Krum man for murder in connection with a fatal DWI crash late last month.
Police investigators determined that 52-year old Damon Brown was driving drunk and speeding when he ran a stop sign and crashed into another vehicle at Jim Christal Road and Western Blvd. on October 22, killing 34-year-old Aman Qureshi.
Brown, who police say had 3 prior DWI convictions had been hospitalized since the accident and was arrested upon his release on Monday. The 3 priors meant an automatic felony charge for the 4th offense.
