Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas Police are looking for man who they say murdered his ex-wife in the parking lot of a Northeast Dallas Academy store last weekend.
Ofelia Hernandez is the victim, Belma Franco’s ex-sister-in-law says that she and Franco were supposed to meet for lunch that day. She told WFAA that she is “heartbroken.”
Authorities say Franco’s boyfriend was shot multiple times, and he is hospitalized. The incident allegedly happened in front of the couple’s 7-year-old son.
“Eight times. Belma was shot three times. She started this new relationship with this new man,” said Hernandez to WFAA-TV.
Police are looking for Miguel Angel Chavez Lopez.
Hernandez says that Lopez needs to be caught and arrested, saying, “He is a danger to society.”
