Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Two women were killed just after midnight Thanksgiving morning by a crash on the R.L. Thornton freeway. Dallas Police say their compact car was hit from behind at high speed by a full size SUV that investigators say was being driven by a badly intoxicated man. The victims’ car suffered what investigators say was “extensive” rear end damage. The full size SUV rolled, and both its occupants were injured. The driver of the SUV, 39 year old Travoris McFadden, has been arrested for intoxication manslaughter.
About two hours later two people were killed in an explosive, grinding crash on the Good Latimer Expressway. Dallas Police say that driver apparently lost control of his vehicle at high speed. He hit a building and a power pole, and his car exploded and burned. The driver and his passenger each died in the wreckage.
