Restaurant May Have Over-served Drunk Driver that Killed Euless Cop

(WBAP/KLIF) — Lake worth police are now investigating a restaurant that may have over-served the suspect in the death of a Euless police officer. The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission also executed search warrants at Fuzzy’s Taco Shop on Azle avenue for possibly over-serving the suspect.

26 year old Dylan Molina is the intoxicated driver that crashed into the vehicle of off-duty Euless officer Alejandro Cervantes, killing him and injuring his family. The Lake Worth man is charged with intoxication manslaughter and three counts of aggravated assault.

According to police, Molina’s blood-alcohol level was almost twice the legal limit and they believe he was served additional alcohol while intoxicated. Molina is being held on a $300,000 bond in the drunk driving crash that killed Euless police officer Alex Cervantes.

Police believe the 26 year old was sold beverages that led to a blood-alcohol level of almost twice the legal limit. Cervantes’ wife remains hospitalized in critical condition, while their two sons are recovering from minor injuries.
