(WBAP/KLIF) — A tragic accident at the Fort Worth Stockyards has claimed the life of a three year old girl. According to police, Cassity Jackson was carried by her father into the Tarrant County Jail, Sunday, with a gunshot wound.
The child had suffered the injury while sitting in a car with her father at the Fort Worth Stockyards. The Fort Worth girl had been on life support at Cook Children’s Hospital before she died, Wednesday.
The Fort Worth Star Telegram says police are investigating the incident and have not released details of the shooting nor the identity of the person responsible.
