One Killed In School Bus Crash

Houston (WBAP/KLIF) – A school bus crashed on a rural southeast Texas road Friday afternoon, killing an adult bus aide, and injuring the driver and three students; one of them seriously. The Texas Department of Public Safety says the Hempstead School District bus was carrying four students and two adults when it rolled over about 12:10 p.m. on Farm-to-Market Road 1887, 45 miles northwest of Houston. D.P.S. has not said why the bus rolled. It did say a high school girl was airlifted to a Houston hospital in serious condition. The bus driver and two students had minor injuries. One student was uninjured.
