(WBAP/KLIF) — Dallas Fire Rescue saved three children from a burning apartment, Monday morning. The apartment fire occurred just after midnight at Interlace Apartments at 3811 Gannon Lane in Southwest Dallas..
The mother of the three children assisted out of the burning building by neighbors, while firefighters rushed in to save the kids, all under 5 years old. According to DFR’s Jason Evans, the mother and three children are being treated at local hospitals.
DFR officials say there was heavy smoke and water damage to the apartment unit, but a cause has not yet been determined.
