(WBAP/KLIF) — A Grand Prairie homeowner shoots his neighbor to death. Authorities say the incident occurred Thursday afternoon when 43-year-old Elon Thomas forced his way into his neighbors home.
The homeowner retrieved a firearm and shot the intruder. Grand Prairie police arrived on the scene and found Thomas with a gunshot wound. The Grand Prairie man was transported to the hospital where he later died.
Officers say the incident was not a random act and no arrests have been made. police are still investigating the shooting.
