Missing Lewisville 10-Year-Old Boy Found Safe

LEWISVILLE (WBAP/KLIF News) – A 10-year-old boy who vanished from a family member’s home in Lewisville has been found safe.

Lewisville Police said 10-year-old Simon Lian vanished Tuesday afternoon from the backyard of a home in the 700 block of Dewberry Drive near South Parkway Boulevard around 4:30 p.m.

Investigators said it’s believed he walked out through a side gate and walked away.

Simon was located when he showed up at school Wednesday morning. They told our media partner WFAA TV the child had stayed at a friend’s house overnight.

“No one in the household knew the child was missing until he showed up at school Wednesday morning,” said police.

Authorities are working with his family to find out what happened.
