Suspect Identified in Harris County Constable Killing

HOUSTON (WBAP/KLIF) – The Houston Police Department identified, on Monday, the man wanted in connection to the shooting death of Harris County Constable Corporal Charles Galloway. According to Police, Cpl. Galloway was gunned down Sunday during a traffic stop in Houston.

Houston Police Chief Troy Finner said that witnesses saw a man get out of his vehicle and fire multiple shots at the deputy before he got away. The suspect is identified as 51-year-old Oscar Rosales.

“We need the eyes and ears of the community,” Chief Finner said.

Anyone with information on there whereabouts of Rosales is asked to call Police. A $60,000 reward is being offered.

Cpl. Galloway served the Harris County Sheriff’s Office for 12 years.
