Suspect Arrested, Charged with Capital Murder in the Killings of North Richland Hills Teen Brothers

NORTH RICHLAND HILLS (WBAP/KLIF News) – The boyfriend of a woman whose two teen sons were shot and killed inside their home has been arrested for the murders.

Officers initially responded to the home of 19-year-old Isaiah Manuel Aponte and 17-year-old Antony Aponte on Gibbons Drive near Davis Boulevard around 6 a.m. Monday.

One of the victims died at the scene and the other at a nearby hospital. Police said the teens’ mother was not at home at the time of the murders but called police when she returned and found them shot.

The investigation into the killings led police to Jesse Lyn Williams, who police arrested on Monday night.

The North Richland Hills Police Department’s detectives had been conducting surveillance at Williams’ home in Fort Worth.

As he left his house, Fort Worth Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop which escalated into a short car and foot chase.

Williams is being held on Capital Murder charges and a $2,000,000 bond.

NRHPD said the investigation into the motive behind the murders continues.
