(WBAP/KLIF) — Country music legend Willie Nelson has lost his older sister. Bobbie Nelson was originally a member of the ‘Willie Nelson & Family Band’, playing piano for more than 50 years.
She also released her debut album in 2007, titled “Autobiography”. In a released statement, the Nelson family said Bobbie passed away peacefully on Thursday surrounded by family and stated “our hearts are broken and she will be deeply missed.”
Willie Nelson collaborated with his older sister on a memoir and a children’s book. Bobbie Nelson was 91.
