DALLAS – (WBAP/KLIF) – More than 80 firefighters arrived Friday about 6:30 pm to find the source of a fire in the 25-story residential Manor House high rise building in downtown Dallas Friday. As firefighters arrived, they saw a thick black column of smoke, and called in a second alarm.
Officials say they found the clubhouse room fully involved, and after the fire was out, investigation and interview with witnesses indicated someone used an open flame to set fire on a couch, which quickly spread.
No injuries to residents or firefighters were reported.
