
(ARLINGTON)- A 32-year old woman was killed on Collins Street in Arlington an hour before midnight on Saturday evening, struck by a vehicle moving northbound. Arlington Police say they arrived to find the woman deceased; investigation thus far reveals she did not have right of way where she was attempting to cross the street
Police say the driver of the vehicle that struck the woman waited for police to arrive and was helpful during the investigation. Police indicate the driver will not face charges. The victim is expected to be identified once family is notified.
Arlington Police remind us to obey traffic laws, and cross at stoplights or pedestrian crossings to avoid injury or death.
