Undated (WBAP/KLIF) – A call is going out to the radio industry to unite for Ukraine. Publishers of the song “Tears For Ukraine co-written by artists Billy Craig and Matt Jacobs, say the heartfelt song is meant to bring the world together to keep focus on Ukraine until the situation is resolved fully.

B. Eric Rhoads, CEO of Austin-based Streamline Publishing teamed with the artists in asking stations across America to add the song into rotation.

In a message to the broadcast industry Rhoads writes: “Radio has changed lives, raised money for charity, and made a difference in each of our communities. We have all used our platforms to create awareness, help our neighbors, and use music to move hearts. The situation in Ukraine is dire. Radio around the country is raising money and doing what they can to help. But we can do more.”

The song starts with the lyrics, “Reluctantly I turn today’s tragic news. Helpless people … what did they do. Living in a world that’s all broken down. In desperation they leave their cities and their towns.
