Leorard, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – Storms moving through the North Texas area Monday evening dropped hail in many areas along with high wind gusts.
There were reports of a tornado sighting west of Leonard about 35 minuutes northeast of McKinney, and there was damage to buildings and fences along Highway 78 however no injuries were reported. The National Weather Service will make the final determination of a tornado.
One resident told WFAA-TV that a barn destroyed and his house was damaged. Three nearby homes reportedly lost their roofs.
