FORT WORTH – (WBAP/KLIF) – Tarrant County prosecutors say the murder and sex assault trial for Reginald Kimbro was over before it started. A plea deal was struck after 28-year old Kimbro pleaded guilty to the 2018 murders of Fort Worth’s Molly Matheson, and the 2017 murder of 36- year old Plano resident Megan Getrum, as well as three sex assaults in Collin County from 2012 to 2014, and an aggravated sex assault in South Padre, in Cameron County.
Four victims described being drugged, strangled and raped. Kimbro was connected through DNA, phone records, surveillance cameras, and more. He was sentenced to life without the possibility of parole in the Matheson case.
