FRISCO (WBAP/KLIF)- To meet the growing housing demand driven by strong job growth in the region, Hillwood has broken ground on its third urban living apartment community at Frisco Station, a 242-acre mixed-use development at the northwest quadrant of the Dallas North Tollway and Warren Parkway. The Casey at Frisco Station, a 300-unit luxury apartment home community, follows The Cadence at Frisco Station, which opened last September and was completed in March of this year. The Casey will be located at 4250 Gridiron Road in Frisco, immediately north of the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters, The Star, and Ford Center.
“As housing market dynamics and preferences continue to evolve, many residents are looking for options that accommodate work-from-home solutions with robust technology infrastructure, coupled with nearby lifestyle and recreational amenities,” said Mark McHenry, managing director of Hillwood Multifamily. “The Casey was designed with Frisco Station’s ‘Smart, Creative and Healthy’ pillars in mind, providing an environment that integrates residents with surrounding recreational and entertainment options in a community with the latest advancements in smart home technology and high-speed bandwidth. The amenities and services offered enable a connected lifestyle in a resort setting and provide residents easy access to the growing list of major employers in the Frisco and Plano markets.”
Designed by JHP Architecture/Urban Design, The Casey will be a five-story, urban-style community with one- and two-bedroom units, ranging from 513 square feet to 1,375 square feet. Incorporating a tech-rich amenity package, the apartment homes will feature Dwelo Smart Home Technology, allowing app-based control of locks, thermostats, lighting and entertainment. Each unit will include 10-foot ceilings, Energy Star stainless steel appliances, two-toned cabinetries, spacious walk-in closets, and private patios. Select units offer built-in desks, studies, urban mudrooms, and butler pantries.
Connectivity continues throughout the property by offering residents access to a dedicated co-working space with private offices and two conference rooms, electric vehicle charging stations, a fitness center, a private library that overlooks the resort-style pool and a bike storage room. The Casey also has direct access to the newly completed park expansion, Canyon East, and the existing 1.3-acre park, The Bend, providing residents with six acres of walkable and accessible open space and connection to the regional hiking and biking trail system.
Upon completion, Frisco Station will include 2,400 units of urban living residential, a 30-acre programmed park system, a 55-acre corporate campus, a dining, shopping and entertainment district, 3 million square feet of mid- and high-rise office space and 34-acres of health, wellness and medical facilities. The Casey is scheduled for preleasing in the Spring of 2023, with its first units coming online in Fall 2023 and full completion in early 2024.
