The Texas Education Agency has officially recommended that schools retool the policies on how they acquire, review, and ban library books. The TEA says schools should put a big emphasis on transparency and letting parents be involved in the process. While these are just official recommendations and not formal mandates, this is still good! Chris thinks this is a fantastic idea for making sure our kids are exposed to the right things while at school.
