Fort Worth ISD Board of Education Seeks Public Input in Superintendent Search

FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News ) – Fort Worth Independent School District’s Board of Education is asking for public input amid the search for its next superintendent.

The board wants to know what qualities parents, employees and the community at large want to see in the district’s next leader.

They’ve relaunched an online survey that allows participants to make their voices heard. The survey closes on May 27.

Starting Monday May16th, the community will have the opportunity to speak at a series of input sessions over the following two weeks.

The in-person events will be held at district high schools and, for employees, at other FWISD locations.

Current Superintendent Dr. Kent Scribner will step down August 31, 2022. He’s led the district of more than 76,000 students for the past seven years.
