DALLAS, Texas (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas I-S-D Trustees have named a finalist for Superintendent, who would replace Michael Hinojosa. She is Dr. Stephanie Elizalde, the current Superintendent at Austin I-S-D and a former Chief of School Leadership with the Dallas I-S-D. She is a Texas native.
The state requires a 21 day review period for the position. After that, trustees are expected to offer Elizalde a contract. If she is confirmed, she will be the second female superintendent in the Dallas I-S-D.
