Washington (WBAP/KLIF) – The White House announced Monday the fifth emergency flight of baby formula from Europe to the United States will take place Thursday. “Operation Fly Formula” will bring 110,000 pounds of Nestle infant formula from Cologne, Germany to Fort Worth. The shipment will be the equivalent of 1.6 million 8 ounce bottles. After it arrives the formula will be distributed throughout the country through Nestle and Gerber distribution channels. The White House says an additional 8.3 million bottle equivalents of formula will be brought in later in other shipments.
