It has been confirmed that the police in Uvalde knew that children were alive in the classroom with the gunman while they were all waiting outside. In the words of Uvalde CISD Chief Arredondo, the officers were told not to go in while they were waiting for their own protective equipment to arrive. This is the exact opposite of the duty he swore to do. Should there be criminal charges filed against Arredondo and any other officers?
