The national rate of inflation is just over 8 percent, but things are looking even worse for us locally in DFW. For starters, gas prices are up 56 percent from this time last year, and food prices have seen their biggest increase since 1979! It’s so bad that charities are now struggling to help the less fortunate because of this record inflation. Joe may not feel the effect of his own price hike, but those at the bottom are the worst off.
