If there’s one way to describe the police response to the shooting in Uvalde, it’s abject failure. More information has come out that police had shields and plenty of firepower ready to go within minutes of getting to the school. But as we all know, CISD Chief Arredondo ordered them to stand down and wait for keys to a door that didn’t even lock. All this info makes it so hard to fathom what happened.
