Paxton Sues Biden Administration for 28th Time

(WBAP/KLIF) — Attorney General Ken Paxton has filed suit against the Biden Administration for imposing climate change initiatives on the auto industry.

Paxton joined 10 other states to petition for a review of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s corporate average fuel economy standards. The regulation seeks to substantially increases the number of electric vehicles nationwide

Paxton says the NHTSA violated the express statutory prohibition on its mandating electric vehicles in setting the standards. Paxton filed the petition to challenge the NHTSA’s new standards for certain cars and light trucks. The Texas attorney general said “I will continue to fight back and challenge these unnecessary regulations that are unconstitutional and do more harm than good”.

This is Paxton’s 28th lawsuit against President Biden’s administration.
