House Explosion Rocks A Plano Neighborhood

Plano, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – The Plano Fire Department is investigating a house explosion in the 3700 Block of Shantara Lane. It happened after 9-PM.

The residents of the home were out of town. No injuries have been reported. It is not known if it is a gas related explosion. Windows in a nearby house were reportedly blown out by the explosion.

As a precaution, authorities initially turned off gas and electricity.

The cause of the fire isn’t immediately known.

The blast happened just blocks from where a home explosion, believed to have been intentionally set rocked another Plano neighborhood last July 19th.
