DALLAS – (WBAP/KLIF) – An investigation is underway in the death of a 53-year old man while in custody of the Dallas Police Department. Officials with Dallas Police say the gang unit was responding to a call concerning stolen vehicles on Starr Street in Southeast Dallas.
They indicate 53-year old Pablo Ramos opened a door to his home, but quickly closed and locked it after seeing officers. Officials say the SWAT team used tear gas trying to get him out of that house, finally finding him “compromised” when they managed to enter the structure. Dallas County Medical Examiner is now conducting an autopsy.
