High Water & Multiple Accidents Across the Metroplex

Dallas-Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) – First responders across the metroplex have responded to hundreds of accident and high water calls. One call for Tarrant County’s MedStar included a person who sustained injuries after their vehicle was swept up by high water.

Moderate to heavy rain is expected to continue in Dallas, Kaufman and Tarrant counties today …

Dallas-Fort Worth (WBAP/KLIF) Heavy rains across the area overnight have made a mess of the roadways. Dozens of accidents and high water is being reported in many areas across the metroplex. A reminder to “Turn around, don’t drown.” Most high water deaths occur in vehicles.

Meantime, Oncor crews are busy this morning responding to thousands of power outages across the metroplex. juan reyes with oncor says that across dallas and tarrant county there are some 4-thousand outages.
