DALLAS – (WBAP/KLIF) – Texas Department of Public Safety officials say a 29-year old man died in an accident while street racing on the Bush Turnpike Saturday afternoon.
DPS officials say the victim was racing another vehicle, reported as weaving in and out of other traffic, lost control and struck a metal guardrail. His body was reported found near, but outside the vehicle.
Eastbound lanes of the Bush Turnpike were closed for hours near Custer Road in Richardson.
