RUSSIA (WBAP/KLIF) – WNBA star and Baylor University Alum Britney Griner will appeal her conviction on drug possession charges October 25th in a Russian court.
Griner pleaded guilty in August to having vape cartridges containing cannabis oil in her luggage at a Russian Airport. She was arrested in February and held in prison until her trial. The United States says she is being wrongfully detained.
