(WBAP/KLIF) – Former President Bill Clinton is slated to campaign for Democrats in South Texas on Monday.
The region has been a strong focus for Republicans and Democrats ahead of Tuesday’s midterm elections.
Former President Donald Trump stumped for Republicans in the Rio Grande Valley last month. Political experts say the GOP is showing momentum among some Hispanic voters in the region that typically votes Democrat.
According to Texas Democrats, President Bill Clinton will visit Laredo and Edinburg on Monday to help get out the vote in South Texas.
At the Laredo rally, President Clinton will be joined by Congressman Henry Cuellar and in Edinburg, he will be joined by Michelle Vallejo.
