(WBAP/KLIF) — Newly elected Tarrant County Judge Tim O’Hare is making good on his vow to scrutinize spending.
During Tuesday’s commissioners court meeting, county employees proposed hiring a consulting firm for recommendations on updating the county’s 20-year-old public meeting streaming technology.
O’Hare voiced opposition to the county paying nearly $230,000 to an audio-visual consulting firm, while County Administrator G.K. Maenius says the county uses consulting firms rather than hiring full-time experts as a cost-savings measure. the proposal passed 3-1.
