Brandom Gengelbach was hired in 2020 and was flying high last month as the chamber touted a $2.5 billion capital investment impact on Fort Worth. After a positive financial report, the organization is now parting ways with Gengelbach, after he spearheaded bringing in over 11,000 jobs and $2.5 in capital investment to Cowtown’s economy.

The chamber announced, Tuesday, that Gengelbach has resigned and Hillwood President Mike Berry will serve as interim CEO. No reason was given for the sudden parting of ways.
