Peppa Pig Theme Park Coming to DFW

(WBAP/KLIF) — A new family theme park is opening in North Texas. After Frisco announced a Universal theme park coming to it’s city Tuesday night, North Richland Hills is following suit.

The city announced that a Peppa Pig Theme Park will be opening in 2024. According to North Richland Hills Mayor Oscar Trevino, the world-renowned television show has a huge fan base. The new park will be built on the 14-acre site formerly known as Mountasia Family Fun Center on Boulevard 26. The Peppa Pig Park will feature rides, attractions, themed playscapes and shows.

The park is only the second in the nation (the other in Florida) and will be located next door to the city’s NRH2O Water Park. Trevino says the economic impact will be favorable. Peppa Pig Theme Parks are a partnership between Hasbro and Merlin Entertainments which operates more than 140 attractions in 25 countries, including Peppa Pig World of Play, a smaller indoor play center in Grapevine Mills Mall.
