(WBAP/KLIF) — Tarrant County makes a move to address homelessness.

Tarrant County Commissioner Manny Ramirez spearheaded an effort to revitalize a crime ridden area along Las Vegas Trail. That became a reality after the commission voted to turn the crime-ridden Knight’s Inn into permanent homeless housing, with job and healthcare assistance.
Ramirez said that Tarrant County joined forces with Fort Worth City, Tarrant County Housing Solutions, non-profits, and private donors to fund the remodeling of the property.
