Cleburne: Man Charged in a Vicious Good Samaritan Beating Cuts Ankle Monitor; Skips Court Hearing

Cleburne, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – Jefferson County authorities are on the hunt for 29-year old Wahib Sadek Hamed, a fugitive who disappeared before a recent court date.

29-year-old Wahib Sadek Hamed cut off his ankle monitor and vanished before a court date last week in connection the brutal beating of a Good Samaritan at a Cleburne hotel last April.

64-year-old Danny Keeling was beaten to a pulp after trying to help a Liberty hotel clerk who was targeted by Hamed an alleged drunken physical altercation. Both men were guests at the hotel.

Meantime, in 2016, a run-in with Arlington police led to Hamed being tasered but not arrested. He once claimed to be affiliated with ISIS and is considered to be armed and dangerous.
