Dallas and Collin Counties Receive Fund to Combat Homelessness

DFW (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas and Collin Counties are Receiving $22 Million from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

President and CEO of Housing Forward, Joli Robinson says the funds will help further many of their system goals by providing housing and supportive services for those who are unhoused.

A portion of the money will also be used to help families leaving domestic violence.

Overall HUD distributed $2.8 billion dollars. Dallas and Collin Counties received 20% more funding that a year ago.
