(WBAP/KLIF) — Fort Worth incumbent mayor Mattie Parker has four challengers coming up during the May 6th Municipal Election.
Among the challengers are Adrian Devine Smith, Jennifer Castillo, Ken Bowens, Jr., and Alyson Kennedy. According to Kennedy, she is the candidate for the everyday worker, as she represents the Socialist Workers Party.
The full-time cashier previously ran for Mayor of Dallas in 2019 against current Mayor Eric Johnson. Early voting runs April 24th through May 2nd, with Election Day on Saturday, May 6th.
