Forth Worth Mayor’s Race Includes Ken Bowens, Jr.

(WBAP/KLIF) — The May 6th Municipal Election is just weeks away and Fort Worth has a hotly contested mayor’s race. The Fort Worth Mayor’s race is heating up as incumbent Mattie Parker faces four challengers on May 6th.

On the ballot this spring are incumbent Mattie Parker, Adrian Devine Smith, Alyson Kennedy, Jennifer Castillo, and Ken Bowens Jr. According to Bowens, he’s been preparing to lead the state’s fifth largest city for two and a half years. He believes key issues facing citizens this year are city infrastructure, crime, and homelessness.

Early voting runs April 24th through May 2nd, with Election Day on Saturday, May 6th.
