(WBAP/KLIF) — The search for missing Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez continues in Everman.

The 6-year-old hasn’t been seen alive since last November and police believe he is dead after his parents fled the country. Everman Police Chief Craig Spencer says dogs detected a scent of human remains in dirt around a shed on the family’s property. That led to several unsuccessful searches. Now, investigators will plan another search with TEXSAR, Saturday, in two large areas near the city.
Spencer says the FBI is also working on extraditing Noel’s parents from India for questioning in the boy’s disappearance.
Spencer says about 50 trained searchers, cadaver dogs, and drones will be utilized in the search operation for Noel. They will meet at the Everman Civic Center at 8:00 a.m., before conducting search operations shortly after. Police are asking the public to stay clear of the search areas during the operation.
