(WBAP/KLIF) — Several North Texas public transportation organizations are offering free rides for the upcoming election.
Dallas Area Rapid Transit, Trinity Metro, and Denton County Transportation Authority are all providing free rides to the polls. DCTA’s David Magana says Denton County voters can visit DCTA.net to find out ride details. Residents can ride on the A-train, Connect Bus, UNT Campus shuttles, and the Go Zone On-demand Ride Share Service.
The program aims to help Denton County residents to participate in the election process. The May 6th Municipal Election is this Saturday from 7am to 7pm. For more information on Election Day free rides, visit:
