Early 911 Calls From Allen Outlet Mall Mass Shooting Released

Allen, TX (WBAP/KLIF) – The first 911 calls made during the Allen Premium Outlet shooting over a week ago have been released.

911 operators were simultaneiously flooded with hundreds of calls for help from frightened victims and witnesses. Amid the chaos, dispatchers attempted to also help police find the shooter.

“Witness where are they at? Do you have eyes on the shooter?” a 911 operator can be heard asking a caller. “Sir, do you have eyes on the shooter?”

The shooter started in front of H&M, rounding a corner. and going about 300 yards before he was shot dead in front of Fatburger. The calls continued to come in over an hour after the shooting with some witnesses saying that were hiding and needed to know what to do.

“We’re hiding in the store. So should we come out?” a caller asked in a quiet, hushed voice.

“You’re going to stay right where you’re at until you hear the police officer say you can come out. Okay?” the operator replied.

“Okay,” the caller responded.

“Okay. Just stay right where you are,” the operator said. “And if anything else happens or anyone is hurt, you, call us back. But they are already clearing out stores. They’ll be with you as fast as they can.”

The gunman killed eight people and wounded seven others. Allen outlet remains closed at least until all of the deceased are laid to rest.
