American Airlines and Pilots Reach Agreement

(FT. WORTH) -FT. Worth based American Airlines has announced it’s reached an agreement in principle on a new four year contract with the Allied Pilots Association. American says the contract provides pilots with increased pay, profit sharing and quality of life provisions.

The pilots still have to vote to ratify the agreement. Earlier this month pilots voted to strike as contract talks stalled.

Pilots for Dallas based Southwest Airlines are still negotiating.
