7-Year-old Temple Girl at the Center of Amber Alert Found

UPDATE 1:03 p.m.: The Temple Police Department said 7-year-old Kryslee Hernandez has been found safe.

At this time, there’s no word of how or where she was found or the status of her alleged abductor, 39-year-old Amanda Guerra.

Investigators said a resident called police after arriving home and finding a car parked in their driveway that they didn’t recognize late Tuesday afternoon.

The resident also gave police home surveillance footage, which reportedly showed Guerra and Hernandez walking into a wooded area.

The investigation into what happened is ongoing.

TEMPLE (WBAP/KLIF News ) – The Texas Department of Public Safety issued an Amber Alert for a 7-year-old girl out of Temple who is believed to be in grave or immediate danger.

Temple Police said Kryslee Hernandez was allegedly abducted by 39-year-old Amanda Guerra. The two were last seen in the 3100 block North 12th street near Ruggles Loop on Tuesday around 11 a.m..

Hernandez is white, 3’10”, 65 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a white t-shirt, shorts and was carrying a backpack.

Guerra is white, 5’3″, 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was also last seen wearing a white t-shirt, shorts and carrying a backpack.

Temple is about 128 miles south of Dallas.
