AUSTIN – A new filing ahead of embattled Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s upcoming Impeachment Trial claims that the impeached AG used burner phones and even had a fake Uber account to meet up with a mistress.
The new filing says that Paxton and a now-indicted real estate investor used the account several times in the summer and fall of 2020.
While some of what was in the filing has been reported before, some information is new.
Paxton’s Impeachment Trial in the Texas Senate is set to get underway September 5th.
