Excessive Heat Warning to be Replaced by Heat Advisory Wednesday

FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF) – It will be hot Wednesday but perhaps not as severe.

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has decided to let the Excessive Heat Warning expire Tuesday at 9:00pm to immediately be replace by a Heat Advisory for 24 hours.

Excessive Heat Warning or Heat Advisory, weather officials and rescue crews strongly encourage hydration and staying indoors.

Highs in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex are expected to be around 104 to 105 Wednesday with the more extreme 107 to 108 degrees later this week into next weekend.

Counties south of Dallas/Fort Worth were downgraded to the lesser Heat Advisory Tuesday.
